August 27, 2008 Club Receives Donation from OPG At noon on Wednesday July 9, 2008, a luncheon was held at the Wiarton & District Curling Club with special guest Lynda Cain, Senior Communications Advisor for Ontario Power Generation (OPG). Also in attendance were most members of the curling club's executive, as well as several junior curlers and their parents. On this occasion, Ms. Cain presented a cheque on behalf of her company in the amount of $1,000, which will go to support the club and its Junior Curling program. Thank you OPG!
